Activities

This project aspires to understand and improve predictability in hydrologic systems through focused, self-sustaining synthesis activities.

Synthesis Activity Groups

Following the September 2007 kick-off meeting, the project team formed five synthesis groups to undertake key activities at varying scales. Fundamentally, the work of all groups centers on predictability. For each group, a PowerPoint presentation overview is provided.

  • Group 1 - Hydromorphology (.ppt)
  • Group 2 - Interactions between hydrosphere and biosphere processes (.ppt)
  • Group 3 - Interactions of landscape processes within intensively managed landscapes (.ppt)
  • Group 4 - Evolution, structure and function of hydrologic subsystems in hillslopes (.ppt A | .ppt B)
  • Group 5 - Stochastic transport (.ppt)
