Coordinator hired for Synthesis project
CWACES is pleased to announce that Jennifer Wilson has been hired to coordinate all aspects of the "Water Cycle Dynamics in a Changing Environment" hydrologic synthesis project. As coordinator, Jennifer will provide technical, logistical and administrative support to the team. Her first day was August 22, 2008.
Jennifer comes to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from US EPA's drinking water program, where she led the efforts to implement the revised arsenic standard. Additionally, she developed CUPSS, a software package to help small water utilities manage their assets. Jennifer has an MS in Soil & Water Science from UC, Riverside and a BS in Geosciences from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. Her research at UC, Riverside focused on spatial and temporal heterogeneities of arsenic and selenium in the groundwater of the Irvine sub-basin, County of Orange, CA.
